White’s primary aim is to cross over from the outer boards to the 6 point. The way to do that is usually to use each number on the dice to cross over from one quadrant of the board to another. Bar/18 gains a crossover but doesn’t diversify crossover numbers, nor does it maximize the chance to move to the 6 point. Therefore bar/19 10/9 ought to be best, probably by an extremely small amount of equity.
